The Ripple Effect: A Sound Bath Experience
A morning exploring how our internal state can influence the way we connect with the people around us.
Our nervous systems are constantly responding to what is happening within us and around us, often without us realizing it.
This November, licensed therapist and certified sound healer Barbara Ferri joins the Women’s Collective for an experiential morning exploring co-regulation, resonance, and the ways our presence can affect one another.
Barbara will introduce these ideas in accessible language, demonstrate how sound and vibration can be experienced in the body, and guide us through a restorative sound immersion using crystal singing bowls.
You’ll have an opportunity to learn, notice your own responses, and experience what it feels like to slow down and settle into sound alongside a group of women.
Notice what your nervous system is communicating.
Explore how breath, posture, presence, and our internal state can affect the way we experience ourselves and interact with others.
Explore how we influence one another.
Learn about co-regulation, or the way our nervous systems respond to the people and environments around us.
Experience sound in your body.
Through crystal singing bowls and a restorative sound immersion, notice how vibration and sound feel within your own body and within the group.
We Affect One Another More Than We Realize.
Our nervous systems do not operate entirely on their own.
You may have noticed that being around someone who feels calm and grounded can help you settle, while another person’s stress or tension can sometimes leave you feeling unsettled too.
This is part of what is known as co-regulation, the way our nervous systems respond to and influence one another through cues such as tone of voice, posture, breath, expression, and presence.
Barbara’s work explores these patterns alongside somatic awareness and sound. During this gathering, she’ll introduce how resonance and vibration can become another way to notice what is happening within the body.
Rather than simply talking about these ideas, you’ll also have an opportunity to experience them directly through sound.
What We’ll Explore
What co-regulation means and how our nervous systems can respond to one another.
The subtle ways breath, posture, presence, and our internal state can communicate without words.
How Barbara works with sound, vibration, and crystal singing bowls as part of nervous-system and somatic practices.
An introduction to different brainwave states, including alpha, beta, theta, and delta.
A restorative sound immersion that gives you space to slow down, listen, and notice your own experience.

Why Spend a Morning Exploring Co-Regulation and Sound?
Because the way we feel within ourselves can shape how we experience the people and world around us.
You absorb the energy of the people around you
You may notice that some people help you feel more settled, while stress or tension in a room can affect you even when nothing has been said.
You spend a lot of time responding to the outside world.
This gathering offers an opportunity to turn your attention inward and become more curious about what your own nervous system is communicating.
You are curious about sound as a restorative practice.
You do not need to know anything about sound healing or brainwave states beforehand. Barbara will introduce the ideas before giving you an opportunity to experience the sound directly.
Our internal states are personal, but they are also relational.
This morning offers space to explore how we affect one another, become more aware of what is happening within your own body, and experience the resonance of sound in a supportive group setting.
What might you notice when you give yourself space to slow down and listen?
Spend a morning exploring nervous-system awareness, connection, and the experience of sound with Barbara Ferri.
This gathering is part of the Wild New Way Women’s Collective and is offered free, sponsored by Wild New Way, Life & Relationship Coaching.
Come experience the ripple effect for yourself.
Join Barbara Ferri for a morning of learning, connection, and restorative sound as we explore how our nervous systems influence one another.
