What You’ll Learn

The course is centered around the four key areas of mindfulness, which you’ll learn to integrate into your life in practical, universal ways:

 

  • Attention – Develop focus and awareness through meditation training.
  • Wisdom – Understand biases, labels, and emotional patterns to increase emotional intelligence and learn to respond rather than react.
  • Values – Build a meaningful life by creating habits aligned with your personal values.
  • Open Heart – Cultivate healthy relationships and develop compassion, loving-kindness, empathic joy, and equanimity.

 

You’ll learn to train your mind, make healthy choices, and live intentionally, no matter the challenges life brings.

The course incorporates lectures, meditations, small group discussions, journaling, and video presentations in a safe and supportive environment.

We’ll provide light snacks and drinks during class. Since the class takes place around dinnertime, you’re also welcome to bring your own food.

A small kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator will be available for your use, and we’ll take breaks during the sessions to ensure you have time to eat and stay nourished and energized.
